Matt, Millie and Elisa will be coming to visit us for a couple of weeks begining Aug. 4. Mom has never met Millie or seen Elisa except on the internet. We are looking forward to showing Millie around as well as playing with Elisa and introducing her to Jack.
This has been a banner year for grandchildren. Elisa was #7, Jack # 8 and ???(Joseph's son due Sept. 22) #9. We have had a lot of fun traveling to Idaho, first to spend time with Joseph and his children and then to help Matt & Millie when Elisa was born. We hope to travel to California next year to visit April as well as Joseph and Matt in Idaho. We are so proud of all our children and grandchildren and know we have been richly blessed.
Hopefully ALL the children and grandchilden will be able to travel to this area next July. We would like to go together to visit Navoo and see City of Joseph. How wonderful it will be to have the whole family there. We are working on Grandma, so hopefully she will go also.
I Love to Blog. Who would have ever thought? Not me. Thanks April.

The Night the Lights Went Out In Poplar Bluff
Late last night we had a big storm come through Poplar Bluff. Due to this, the electricity went out over the whole city. At this same time, Jack was getting ready to come into the world. To make things more exciting the back up generator did not work. We had a few essentials, that were battery backed up but not a lot of light. The doctor wanted to wait to deliver Jack until power was restored. A little over an hour later the electricity has been restored and after a lot of pushing Jack made his appearance. We knew Jack would be bringing a lot of excitment into our world, but didn't expect it to start so soon.

Waiting for Wednesdy
The BIG day is now Wednesday. Dr. Patty is going to induce Beth on Wednesday if she doesn't have Jack before. So far no indication Jack's in any hurry. I think he's happy where he's at. I have the camera all ready. I'll keep everone informed.

Temple Day
Dan was asked to escort Bro. Richardson (Sherry Livingston's) husband though the temple today. He taught the temple class so he felt honored to be asked. I am sure he will come home uplifted. I didn't go because I want to be close in case Jack decides to come.

Still counting down....
Jack has still not made his appearance, even though we are sure everyday he will.
Patience, patience...Beth has a bad backache yesterday but is feeling good today.
We'll see how patient we have to be.

Laura takes the plunge!!!
Laura has moved to Dexter with Beth and Mike. She is currently looking for a job in Dexter, hopefully close to where she lives. We wish her good luck. We miss her but I am sure this is good for her.

IMPATIENTLY WAITING!!!!
We are all impatiently waiting for Jack to make an appearance. Beth went to the Dr. yesterday and found out she was already dilated to 3cm., so she is very anxious. She has been walking to try to encourage him but so far nothing. So we will continue to learn patience as we wait.

MONDAY, MONDAY
Today we mowed the yard at the old house, showed the house to a possible buyer, picked up canning jars from Grace and ate watermelon. Now its time for a nap.
Mike has to go to St. Louis for training so Beth is staying with us until Wednesday.
She goes back to the doctor tomorrow so we'll see how she is progressing. Everyone is getting anxious, especially Beth.

This was the result of emptying the old house and sorting before we put our items in our big red barn.
