DECEMBER IS BIG MONTH

Not only do we have Christmas to look forward to, but we have 3 granddaughters with birthdays this month. Happy birthday to Chelsie, Nicole, and Kelly. I know you will be having great parties.

CONGRATULATIONS MILLI!! She will be graduating from BYU this month. We are so proud of her.

We have 3 grandchildren that will celebrate their first Christmas this year. How exciting!!
I am expecting a lot of pictures of ALL the grandchilden and children on the blog.

We are so thankful for all of our family. We are grateful to be here with Mom and to have 2 of our children here. Even if the rest are far away, we are thankful for them and the blessings they are in our lives. This last year we have got to see everyone with the expection of Jarom.
Hopefully we will remedy this next year.

Congratulations to Joseph and Sara

It looks like their house is almost finished. What a wonderful accomplishment and what a beautiful house. Sara did great on her TV interview. Can't wait until we can see it.

Congratulation to Laura

Laura has basically finished raking our leaves in the back yard. Most of the trees in the yard are bare. The leaves filled a large trailer that Bro. Wilson brought to us. Bro. Wilson uses the leaves to build up his land. Thank you Laura for working so hard to complete this big task.

Congratulations to Mike and Beth

Mike has advanced to the next stage of becoming a Mo. State Trooper. Way to go!

Beth has been called as 1st counselor in the Young Women. How exciting!

Dan is taking test

For several weeks Dan has been taking classes to become a ham radio operator. Tonight is the big test to see if he can qualify for a license. Good luck Dan! The next step will be getting a radio. The Church has encouraged members to take this class. Since we are so spread out here, it's a good way to communicate in case of emergency.

Rain, Rain

It has turned cooler and has been raining. We know winter is on the way.
Laura got a cute haircut and grandma got a perm that looks really good. Pictures to follow.

I heard a cute recipe on food net work I want to try. Bake a chocolate cake in thin layer. Cut with small round cutter. Put cupcake holders in muffin pan. Place one round of chocolate cake. in cupcake holder. Put a scoop of ice cream on top. Place in freezer to harden. When solid, put on another round of cake. Fill a pastry bag with marshmellow cream and insert into cake. Put back in freezer to harden again. When solid cover with chocolate. Put back in freezer to set. Decorate with white frosting in a squiggle (like you see on hostess cupcakes.)
Cute, huh? I'll let you know how it turns out.

Also I have a new recipe for merguine that is quick and easy. Beat two egg whites until stiff. Add jar a marshmellow cream and whip. Spread on pie. Bake in oven for a few minutes to brown. Great tasting and easy.
